But....in other news, omiewise deserves a shoutout on general principles. He is a stalwart for the rational and balanced view at MeFi and makes some fine posts.

So this is my little 'yay' for omiewise (I'm pretty sure he spells it sans caps here ?)

I, too, dig the fat women and and will attack with all my vicious little strength all those who disparage the goddess. Oooo, you're my favorite iconomy. Vicks is comfort food for me when I've got a head cold.

Which I do now, actually. Which means I've got flannel jammies on, fuzzy slippers, hot cocoa (with a splash of peppermint schnapps), some Vicks slathered on my chest, and soup for later.

Oh, and OmieWise is one of my favorite FPP and commenters over at that other site. Sometimes I have visions of filtering out everything but a very few users, and he'd be one that I'd keep.

I tend to filter the other site some by only reading FPPs that come through the MetaChat sidebar. Occasionally I stray and go over to the actual front page of the blue, but it's a rare occurance.
