AskMeCha: To be drawing the crude pictures of genitals I just need a small free art program for mac 0s10.2.8 (The Jaguar). What I want is something similar to MS Paint, that can draw straight lines and a couple curves, has at least 16 colors and maybe that neat thatching for the crappy spraybrush.
I DO NOT NEED SOMETHING AS COMPLOX AS ILLUSTRATOR.
(I just wanna doodle on my computer, man, I don't need a buncha filters or nothin').

Any hope for me, MeCha?

Wow, that is simple. It's not exactly what I was looking for (I was looking for more simple function than user friendliness), but I appreciate it and am screwing around a little right now. What I really wanted was just something I could play with enough to make CD liner notes while I was doing something else, as Adobe products have a habit of making everything else die.

PaintShop has free trials.

An older version is offered for free at:
http://www.getitfree.net/527/
but I don't trust the page and suspect it may have spam or spyware attached to it. They are clearly harvesting email addresses for spam. But if you're already getting spam, why not get a little more?

Alex: Thank you. I'm looking at the program, and appreciating your steps on the grudge-free path. Hopefully, that's why you bother.

I used to use paintshoppro on my gramma's computer when I was stuck at her house for boring summer days. Maybe it's gotten better...
