This is cool.

What do you all think about this sort of combination of design and photography, anyhow? I host my photos on Flickr, but I've been thinking of creating a custom website that sort of syncs up with the theme of one of my photosets. Is this a good idea, or does the design distract from/overwhelm the photography?

I like sites like these 10000-billion times more than flickr. Seriously, if you have a good design idea and itch I'd say go for it. Great design doesn't distract, it enhances. Flickr on the other hand does distract.

Very nice. A little slow on the load but otherwise excellent. I can't believe it uses the full width of my 20" widescreen monitor. Neat!
