What I like about it is the cleanliness of the composition, and the high modernist monumentality of the figure. A bit too often he gets into Photoshop buffing that I think makes the images less interesting, and I am kinda disappointed that the nudes are so traditional, but the images he gets are strong.

Sure, I do it all the time. Those posters who think a single word FPP is oh so clever are doing the site and themselves a disservice.

ah, thanks for commenting, Mitheral... I meant to remember to say that I looked at the site this morning (many, many hours ago, from where I'm sitting) and really liked it, and now that I saw your response on "recent comments", I finally did remember.

So, thanks for pointing it out, klangklangston. I also missed this at MeFi the first time around, and the hurricane images are very moving. I expected any minute to see someone I know, and while I didn't, the portraits were very authentic, very close to my experience in terms of place & people.

Yeah, it pissed me off to see what could have been a good FPP turned into something that was easy to miss. And I hope that more people don't miss it here just because I mentioned that part of it was on MeFi before...
