I bought a receiver yesterday but I do not have any speakers to hook up to it (well for digital sources I can use the optical cable through my pc speakers, which is fine for movies for now, but no analog) yet. Which is kinda silly, I guess.

I HAVE figured out what my first two speakers will be. I will use them alone for now, but will later pick up a subwoofer and three of these for front speakers and center speaker. I will then use the first speakers for surrounds and will get more of them to finish up a 7.1 system. Yes. When I have money. Which I have none of now. Hi.

First off, hey all! Lack of internet has been driving me crazy for the past two weeks, but I'm baaaaaaaack!

I grabbed my mom's old Polks (with her permission) when I set up her new Bose thingamagig, and caitlinb gave me her old receiver and an extra set of Polks when she went all digital. So there's one great thing MeFi has done for me lately.
