I don't know where yoga is, but we're damn dry down here in Georgia, too. Fire advisories and all that.

Heh. We'll send you some. Here in Wisconsin, we're on day two (of four expected) of wind and rain storms. The temps are just above freezing, by the way.

Plus: the trees, especially, suffered this summer -- 17th driest in 20 years.
Minus: I'm trying to lay a replacement foundation for an outbuilding. Mud. Yay.

i was in chapel hill a couple years ago -- 2002, i think -- when we had that realy severe drought. unc started telling everyone to conserve, leading to multi-we-should-shower-together type jokes. also, no-flush urinals in the library.
the lake i rowed on was way, WAY down. we had to untie the floating dock and drag it back down into the water again.

then it rained every goddamn day that winter, it seemed like.

Yeah, us too, @300 miles west of Raleigh and the dryest fall ever, after the wettest spring. It rained every. single. fucking. day. in May, June & July, then it stopped. And it hasn't started up again yet.
