I bet you would have named it Aubergine, too.

They named the greenypup "Wasabi". How off-colour is that? No wasabi I ever had was that shade. I'd have gone with "Endive".

As it is written: lo, a green retriever shall come among ye, and he shall be adored, lo, and shall fetch only pink tennis balls, and be used as a mascot for Lilly Pulitzer! This than shall usher in the time of Oddly Colored Pets which is one of the fifty Signs of Apocalypse tm which others ye shall know by their Meat Hats and Lizards!
