In other words, joelf, no national advertiser in the US would ever air anything referencing the fact that we evolved from slimy underwater creaturees. Not when support for the theory (without theistic entanglements) hovers around 22% of the population here.

This aired in the states. I saw it in Montpelier, VT while watching NFL football at the local pub. My wife and I even commented on how stupid we thought the ad was. (And I'm a big fan of Guinness.)
