Classic Poem Daily A little treasure in my email every morning. [More:]
I've been enjoying this and thought some of you might also. While we're on the topic, any much-loved poems (not necessarily classic, and song lyrics count) that you care to share? Here's one I dig by Robert Frost:

The Rose Family

The rose is a rose,
And was always a rose.
But the theory now goes
That the apple's a rose,
And the pear is, and so's
The plum, I suppose.
The dear only know
What will next prove a rose.
You, of course, are a rose--
But were always a rose.

Sounds cool. Wish it was in the form of a blog, so I could take the RSS feed.

Xerox Candy Bar

Ah,
you're just a copy
of all the candy bars
I've ever eaten.

one of my favorite poems was the one in Little Man Tate:

death
a blue distillate in a cup
resting on the back of a hand

(if someone could finish it please)
