I have XO, which I initially really liked the music on until I started listening to the lyrics. I find it pretty depressing.

I heard this in a record store a few days and thought it was a great cover. I've heard several bad takes on this song, but Elliott really nailed the emotion. Of course, Elliott could make "Jingle Bells" sound like an ode to lonliness.

(teenage fanclub have an excellent album entitled "Thirteen" which is a reference to this song, I believe)
