Personally, I like getting people busted for incest and child abuse.

I spent five years developing and delivering statewide training for Child Protective Services and I am vastly amused to see justice brought to these scum. It is the most premeditated crime that exists and the one with the greatest certainty of guilt.

There is nothing in world more dispicable than a parent who will rape and torture a child and nothing more satisfying than watching them squirm when they hear the words, "You're under arrest."

The only thing better is when they say "I give up" and they are told, "Not yet you haven't."

You can give me lip about this when you've been and done and seen what I have. Heh.

No, that's not heh. Not yet.

Heh is when our man is released into the general prison population.

Sorry to go off like that, but I had to spend several months going over medical forensic photographs of child abuse injuries from physical and sexual abuse in developing one part of the training materials.

That was ten years ago, but I'm still kind of touchy about it. It ain't pretty. You really can't imagine it.

Arms are instruments of ill omen, not the instruments of the gentleman.
When one is compelled to use them, it is best to do so without relish.
There is no glory in victory, and so to glorify it despite this is to exult in the killing of men.
One who exults in the killing of men will never have his way in the empire. [...]
When great numbers of people are killed, one should weep over them with sorrow.
When victorious in war, one should observe the rites of mourning.

It's 1:30 am. I'm staying up cramming on the law. Tomorrow I have to try to go pro se against these swine and get the hearing opened up to the public.

The ACLU has no lawyer available and they are coaching me by phone on how to do it.

I just spent the last 72 hours fighting the border militias to a standstill. I was on the border most of Sunday and at hearings last night and tonight. Things are a little busy hereabouts.

Personally, I favor Musashi's Book of Five Rings to that Taoist twerp. Each to his own...

i deleted something earlier i won't repeat word for word
but while i don't wish others to have to see what we have seen or know what we know
it does somewhat help and struck me rather too profoundly when i deleted it
that someone else here understands

other odd coincidence include but are not limited to my possibly having to cram law sooner than i had hoped
but right now i have to deal with less secular duties

6:00 am. I'm most of the way into writing the pleading contending the hearing was illegally closed to the public. I've got all my points and cites lined up. Gaaaah. I'm too old for this sort of thing.

Zen v. Taoism or PirateNinjas v. Bureaucrats.

Lao Tzu never picked flies out the air with chopsticks. The Sword Saint did.

Heh.

I don't care what you've been through, what pictures you've seen, or what you researched. It's not funny. Nothing about this is funny.

The statute limits on sexual abuse need to be the same as murder - no expiration date.

warbaby - I don't have a problem with your reaction. We all react differently to various situations. However, I am sure there are a few here that have personally experienced what you have seen. I, for one, have no problem imagining what you have seen.

p&c - yup, you don't care. You don't matter either.

deborah - There's no statute of limitations on child abuse in many states. There are problems with getting a conviction, though. But the problems the Catholic Church has been having is one example that payback is waiting for many of these criminals, though it may be through civil instead of criminal action.

-- and check the perp's background history, this guy has been a big problem for a lot of people for a long time -- and now he's at least out of circulation, if nothing else. Heh.
