And let me give you this warning: Never tell anyone that you like bananas best when they start getting freckly. Everyone will interpret this to mean that you like mushy, overripe bananas and they will go out of their way to bestow their rotten fruit on you regularly.

I'm Chiquita banana and I've come to say
Bananas have to ripen in a certain way
When they are fleck'd with brown and have a golden hue
Bananas taste the best and are best for you
You can put them in a salad
You can put them in a pie
Any way you want to eat them
It's impossible to beat them
But, bananas like the climate of the very, very tropical equator
So you should never put bananas in the refrigerator!

Banana Bread.
Though you may be a sweet treat you are more complicated than you let on. Your ingredients are varied but they work well together. People enjoy being around you but most of them don't really understand you. Feel free to seek out those whose intellect is as great as yours but be patient with everyone else. After all, they may not know baking soda from soda pop but then you didn't when you started out either.

(and the bananas aren't bad either)
