While working at a bookstore, I had someone ask if we carried Cliffs Notes for "Jonathon Livingston Seagull". About a week later, I got a request for an English translation of Shakespeare.
I predict a booming market for the scrapbook book.
While working at a bookstore that was connected to a college for teachers, I was asked whether wooly mammoths were dinosaurs, if we had any books with "knowledge" in them, and--forever my favorite bookstore moment--who wrote Aesop's Fables.

i've always been partial to depression for dummies. that always seemed pretty low to me, but i've never scrapbooked (or bookscrapped). i think we still have the review copy around here somewhere.
And delmoi, I think my SO has that book; if memory serves, I gave it to her for Xmas last year, at her request. I don't fully understand all things she does, but apparently bioinformatics are involved.
Scrapbooking for Dummies is ridiculously low and pandering. But I've seen worse.
