While working at a bookstore, I had someone ask if we carried Cliffs Notes for "Jonathon Livingston Seagull". About a week later, I got a request for an English translation of Shakespeare.

While working at a bookstore that was connected to a college for teachers, I was asked whether wooly mammoths were dinosaurs, if we had any books with "knowledge" in them, and--forever my favorite bookstore moment--who wrote Aesop's Fables.

Isn't it?

I ask you: Isn't it??

Uh, yes. Yes it is.

And delmoi, I think my SO has that book; if memory serves, I gave it to her for Xmas last year, at her request. I don't fully understand all things she does, but apparently bioinformatics are involved.
