So great. I'm wild about things that inspire one to look at ordinary things differently. I love it when I suddenly find myself eyeing up what would normally have been a completely mundane item with strange and fanciful notions in my head... and I love this.

(There was an earlier post here about an artist who creates tiny environments in nearly-hidden unexpected places... like in a crack in the wall, or under a stairs. Does anyone have that link to hand?)

That's it, cali! I'm a real sucker for anything that introduces humor, whimsy and surprise - which to me is much more difficult to do well than much of the avant-garde, supposedly deeply profound work I see. But there I'm falling into that either/or way of viewing things, which is so wrong. Art is big!
