Grief Bacon and Dragon Fodder Looking for that perfect word? It may just not be in your language...
Interesting, although the first paragraph bugs me.

While English speakers have to describe the action of laughing so much that one side of your abdomen hurts (hardly an economical phrase), the Japanese have the much more efficient expression: katahara itai.


Wouldn't the English term for such a thing be "side-splitting"? Seems just as economical as the Japanese expression.

I loved this though:

Backpfeifengesicht - a face that cries out for a fist in it


Also, the link to the article on the World Beard Championships was like a completely fabulous bonus.
