I was having a hard time getting the story here, but somehow this: "Cordoba - All the lines of Cordoba are taken from a textbook for learning Spanish" makes it inexplicably endearing.
I've always loved this song. Haven't listened to it in years. thanks for the trip down memory lane. There is a nice solo piano version of it from the KCRW Rare on Air (volume 1).
