I hope you are roaring now, k., with great fun... And I hope the newlyweds will be roaring for the entire extent of their honeymoon... and for the next 50-60 years!

Though it's so uncool to admit this & I love where I'm at now, taz, your comment made me realize how much I've missed doing weddings since I stopped catering a couple months ago. Even the quiet ones were fun in their own way.

This was one of those roaring fun weddings. The groom wore jeans and a black shirt that said "groom" in white block print, and a jacket during the ceremony. The bride wore jeans and a white shirt that said "bride" in a celtic script in gold, and a veil I made for her during the bachelorette party for the ceremony.

It was outside, by a beautiful ravine, and they decorated the shelter with leaves, white lights and candles.

very, very very casual, which is why I suspect it was so fun. A bunch of the friends cooked the food on a couple grills, and we all stayed late into the night drinking white russians, spiced cider, and a beer the groom made himself.

I normally hate weddings since they're so boring and formal, but this one was great.
