Iceland Woos America With Lamb and Skyr : Whole Foods will start selling traditional Icelandic delicacies. I recommend trying the skyr, it's DELICIOUS.

No smoked puffin. Nope. Still got to go to Iceland for that one.

Skyr is technically a cheese, though really it's more like yogurt. You eat it with a spoon and it tastes like God.

I read the first page or so of the article...but then I clicked on the CMJ music diary link and scanned a little bit of that and then I clicked somewhere else and never made it back here until now. Did they ever get to the "why" of the story? I didn't make it that far. Sorry!

Not too much up here - life's been crazy since moving back to the US. I've been employed, unemployed, couch surfing... it's nuts. Currently I'm hanging out in a friend's apartment with the fattest cat in the whole world.
