I heard Anthony and the Johnsons for the first time last weekend. Boy, did I hate them. That guy's voice really grates on my nerves.

He hasn't lived in England since he was 6, so it's not that strange you haven't heard of him.
Wikipedia. I think he's quite good, but you have to be in a certain mood to appreciate him.

Kaiser Chiefs, no thanks.

Antony's voice takes a bit of getting used to at first, but if you just imagine that he's Nina Simone it becomes quite beautiful.

I haven't heard the Kaiser Chiefs. We do have "I am a Bird Now" at my place. I didn't buy it, but after having given it a few listens, I kind of like it when it gets put on the house stereo.
