I really hate the s-apostrophe rule applied to singular nouns. I strongly disagree with it. In fact, I don't really agree with the plural version, either. I also hate the American "punctuation inside the quotation marks" rule and won't abide it.

I am contractually required to abide by it in all my writing for a certain website co-owned by a media empire and an evil empire, and considering much of what I write requires referring to Movie and TV titles in quotes... it's hell, man, it's hell...
