They just fired/laid off/let go/set free four more people at my work today. This is the fourth such firing spree since the company was bought awhile back. Most of the firees were higher up than me in the heirarchy, but then again who isn't? A few days from now, they'll have a meeting where the nabobs will blither about the companies corporate health and speak a corpo-speak that flies right over my head. Days like today, I wish I worked as a bartender or a cashier or something.
