Paranoia Agent Opening Credits
Large, high quality AVI (59.31 MB)
Small, low quality MPG (18.18 MB)

This intro to the anime Paranoia Agent really creeps me out. It features the main characters laughing mindlessly in various strange locations. The show is pretty weird, too.

Official site - Quicktime trailer.[More:]Sorry if you have trouble with the intro movies, it took me quite a long time to even get them working.
I do like the song, though.

puke & cry, that cartoon looks pretty interesting, but yeah, the intro is a bit disturbing. Fun to watch, though.

This show is freaking awesome. I've seen the whole series: highly recommended. You can get it on Netflix amongst other locations.

If you like it, Satoshi Kon (the creator) has made some excellent movies as well.

If I didn't like Satoshi Kon's movies (Millenium Actress and Tokyo Godfathers anyway, haven't seen Perfect Blue), might I still like Paranoia Agent?

PST: Hmm. Well, Paranoia Agent is in Kon's Magnetic Rose / Perfect Blue weird psychological thriller mode rather than the Tokyo Godfathers / Millenium Actress comic melodrama mode. But it has some of the same ruminations on life in Tokyo that all of his films do. And some of the same stylistic choices. So you might like it, but then again Kon just might not really be the filmmaker for you.

(I liked Millenium Actress, but not Tokyo Godfathers so much)

I sort of felt that paranoid agent was great for the first 10 episodes and then petered out after the woman with multiple personalities. started strong and finished limp.

I'm with you in that there were some mediocre filler episodes, but I enjoyed the ending.
