Ever have one of those days...... My car was stolen last night, right off of my block. This is definitely the second worst day I've had in years (the first being Nov. 2nd). Has this ever happened to you?

sorry hon. no car stolen, but my worst days have been all multiple-bad-things-happening, so you're luckier.

Was your insurance all paid up, and did you get a rental for now? was it a nice car, or a top-ten popular car?

I've never had my car stolen but I've definitely had One Of Those Days. Here's to things getting better for you soon.

Yes, this happened to me... from right in front of my house (in the US), and it was a totally bitching Mustang. This is a true story.

Well... It was a lovely special edition mustang. But after it was stolen we found out it's like the top model, statistically, in the U.S, to be stolen. In fact, we found out that buying that car was just asking for it, basically.

Oh, well... C'est la guerre.

That sucks, edible energy. :-(

I've never had a car stolen. But one of friends once had his broken into. Admittedly, a pretty routine crime, but what made this so horrible is that they stole EVERYTHING, his books, the pennies in the console, his pens, everything.
Except one CD--his Third Base CD, which they propped in the driver's seat just to ridicule his awful taste in music.

He could handle the break-in, but being taunted really got to him. :-)

Nov 2nd: Election Day ;)

The car was a '94 Acura Integra. Not in great shape, but still, ya know... it was (ooh that word hurts) my car. I'm glad it wasn't a Mustang or I'd still be bangin my head against the wall. I'm waiting for the cops to come so I can file a report.

ee-I'm so sorry. I was travelling cross country with some friends, once, and our truck got stolen with all of our shit, pretty much all we had in the world. We eventually got the truck back, but of course none of the shit. Included in the inventory: 400 cds (min), powerbook (mine), single rowing shell (Christine's), kayak (Dave's), books, memories, feelings of safety and good vibes.

I'm really sorry, but it will all get better.
