Investigate songs with compatible melodies →[More:]You know how you can sometimes get two songs with distinct melodies caught up in your mind such that one goes directly into the other, inadvertantly and medley-style? Yes/no? Well, I'm currently entrapped by a chain of "Norwegian Wood" -> "She Sang Hymns out of Tune" -> "Angel Band", so I'm curious as to what other such chains y'all might have encountered.

Oh geez I know what you mean, but I can't think of any at the moment - they drift out of my mind as easily as they drift into it.

I'm so poorly attuned to this that I can notice an affinity but I can never identify the song except some point later when it doesn't matter. I'm getting a little better at thinking, "Oh, this song off of X sounds a lot like Y", though.
