It's Finally Raining And I am taking great satisfaction in my anthropomorphized cold front slaying the evil heat + humidity dragon.
So I think I should finally get AC next summer. Because identifying with the weather seems a little off the reservation, no?

Yay for the rain, dame. I don't think it's gonna do a hell of a lot though. I am still sitting in the apartment hovered over the AC. blech.

Rub it in, why don't you? Hasn't rained in weeks here.

No, gaspode. According to Mike's Weather Station, the temp has dropped eleven degrees in the last hour and thirteen degrees from yesterday at this time. Tomorrow the high will be low to mid eighties. Hurrah!

Don't you live in Utah crash? Because if so, I'm tempted to say it's your own fault.

(Of course, I haven't actually gone outside to find out--hiding at a friend's.)

i know--it was nice while it lasted. : >

Well, that's good news. My inner pessimist is temporarily silenced.

Wow. The storm blew over an entire tree a few blocks away. Impressive.

You'd be right, of course, it is my fault.

But that doesn't limit my right to complain.

True enough.

we really need hours and hours more of rain...it's still muggy

It got almost chilly here in Colorado over the past few days. Plenty of rain. I dug out the jeans and the hoody.

Mmmm if it rained all night, and then we got up tomorrow morning and it was all fresh and sunny and low 80s... that would be my idea of heaven.

carter, we did dip into the 50's last night (58), but it was still dry as a bone. Nice to have the windows open and the A/C off, though.

Hey, I can't fix everything, okay? Wasn't my thunderstorm good enough for you?

(And crash, I'd rather it got down to 58 and was bone dry.)

Aah, that is nice, crash. Makes you look forward to autumn.

Apparently we also had a little snow, at least at the top of the Rocky Mountain National Park. I guess the precipitation must have stayed this side of the divide.

I got soaked just going to the video store (Freaked, didn't much like it) two blocks away.
