Hope Me MetaChat. I got my good friend a portable USB drive for her birthday and am looking for stuff to fill it up with. →[More:] I'm over half way full, what with transferring my MP3 collection and some trailers for movies she'd love. (There's less than 10 Gig left) Anyway, I wondered what downloadable s/w & films & flash goodies I could also place on the disk. In terms of what she's into, here's a list of words....

Cats, comics, art & design, poetry, the image, photography, arts & crafts, glitter, glue, gothic, film, sci-fi, faerie, photoshop, writing, Brighton, windows, x-box.

Music words: folksy, ambient, orb, kate rusby, tom waits.
Things she hates: potty talk, buttons.

Quick Note: She doesn't have broadband.

You can get some of the recent Tom Waits albums from emusic.com. They have a "sign up and get 50 free mp3s" offer on now. You can literally sign up, download the 50, and cancel your membership and end up paying zip. You still need a CC# to qualify though (they would bill you as soon as you downloaded mp3 #51). They also have lots of folk and ambient music.
