Carlos Santana, shoe designer? →[More:]Attn: Specklet and all other shoes whores. I had no idea until yesterday that Carlos Santana designed shoes. Is this common knowledge, or what? Like other famous names that put their names on things, I wonder how much input he really has, but let me tell you, I bought those mambos yesterday, and they're very sexy, look really good on the foot, and they're really comfortable. They look great with jeans.

I heard a radio ad about this a couple of weeks ago, but I didn't really think twice about it.

Today I watch a bit of a Santana DVD at the Bose store. His shoes? Not particularly impressive.

I've seen his shoes in a bunch of fashion magazines. Some of them are darling and they seem pretty reasonably priced.
