Show Us Yours Show us where you surf Metachat.

Here's where I play.
Do you use the books?

That monkey is staring at the bunny rather hungrily, I think. Or am I just staring at the carrots on the item page hungrily?

I'd post here, but my desk is too filthy.

Nice. I don't have a digital camera, unfortunately. Or any other camera, now that I think of it.

I don't have a digital camera either, but remember the descriptions of the guy's study in Carpenter's Gothic? It's kinda like that, but with litter boxes.

Also, this is what it looks like out my window in spring. Well, there is more planted than when this picture was taken, but still.

I might get a camera for my birfday this week, and if so, I'll take some pix. I do have a pencam, but it's outta batteries at the moment, plus it's crappy.

Do you use the books?

Yep. That's why they're so handy.

I dropped my digital camera on the driveway yesterday :-(
Now the lens is stuck sticking out and it doesn't respond to anything.

It's a Kodak EasyShare - anyone have any off-the-top-of-their-head opinions on whether I should see if it can be fixed or just go buy another one?

overall and a closeup Now you all know what a slob I really am. And yes, that's a map of Morrowind. ;-)

Full size here.

I actually cleaned up for this shot. :\

The map on the wall is of Los Angeles, to remind me of home. Computers: Desktop in the center. Two laptops on either side as Win2VNC slaves. The laptop on the right will do dual-desktop with the right-hand monitor as slave, giving me four fulltime desktops, all semi-integrated. That's a WiFi/ethernet router velcro'ed to the monitor on the right. My GF's desk is behind mine. You can see her monitor in the background.

Wow, you all have extra nerdy offices. I don't have a digital camera, so I can't show you mine. I can tell you about it, though: I surf from my bed, purple quilt with light blue embroidery, lavender walls (the brick one is white), crimson rug. Too many books. It's a former industrial space: sixteen-foot cielings and big old columns. The drywall is crappy because I did it myself. There's a rusty water stain over the door where the roof leaked when the gutters got blocked by firecrackers after the fourth of July. Lots of framed bugs on the walls. Good music.

Industrial spaces are awesomeness.

loquacious also has a cocktail of some description, I see.

For mudpuppie, the view from the desk.
