we've been using it a lot, and i don't know how kosher it is. (not that it would stop me)

i'm not sure either but it is kind of a pain in the ass, especially with the ads.

What kind of secure? Do you mean does it harvest your email address?

i had questions before using it myself with the downloads but i used it to see what happened.
i haven't noticed spam yet or anything nefarious but i'll wait and see.
i question when google ads and ads in general get specific. and i hae underpops and pops in general.
when i gmail people about sundries of life, i get ads that bug me.

Funny you should mention this, since I tried to use YouSendIt just now but before the file finished uploading I got a "Cannot Find Server" error. Used MegaUpload instead.

i do not get any ads at all on you send it, no pop-ups or unders either. *shrugs* running firefox and i have done nothing special to get rid of the ads.

and i use a junk email account for the links.

i found from my posting the majority of my mix, it can't handle some files over five mg even though it does sometimes

I once asked them via email to remove some unauthorized content for a friend of mine, showing them exactly where it was and who owned the rights to it.

They never replied. I don't think they care, at least at the moment.
