In other news, the reason for my absence was a honest-to-goodness, real life, not on-call, full time J-O-B. It's back in restaurant, exactly, exactly the kind of place I wanted to work at and they cut short my week long audition to offer me the position literally hours before I would have otherwise resigned myself to a cubicle.

Everyone's well wishes, support and levity are appreciated beyond my ability to articulate right now. Thank you so much: you have been a world of warmth when things simply sucked and seemed downright untenable.

I was so tired last night that I don't think I was very clear on what I meant. By all means, send as many happy thoughts my way (I'll never turn those down), but most importantly, thanks so much for all of the support offered in the past few weeks.
