Dan McKay should give out a bad website design award. Then, the Dan McKay award for bad website design could go to the Bulwer-Lytton Fiction Contest for bad fiction which went to Dan McKay.

That would be pleasingly self-referential.

These "worst writing contests" are funny but for some reason I can never read a whole list of them - I lose interest after about six or seven examples.

Either I'm becoming even more jaded, or this year's crop weren't nearly as good. The contestants have learned to play into the judges' preference for bad puns, to the detriment of other awful forms of prose.
