Sheepherding dogs herding sheep.
I admit in advance that this is tremendously cruel; sheepherding dogs should not be forced to herd sheep and sheep should not be forced to move from one place to another.

Sometimes I think about getting some sheep just so my collie will have something to do. It might get complicated though since my other dog is a hound and his instincts would be to tree the sheep which would confuse everyone involved, especially the sheep.

that's so funny, mgl
i like working dogs, they have a look about them i find attractive. i think it's the snout and the eyes.
i forget which animal, possibly these minature goats, but there is something that is a good companion for your dog to exercise with that will cut your grass.

Unless you can find the elusive tree-climbing ewe. She's out there and she's courageous.

Fun pics - great dogs. A friend of mine tells a story about being at an Australian bbq once where there was a border collie that was practically driven insane over its inability to keep the human attendees in neat little clumps. She said he just kept trying to herd the guests all day.
