You like things edgy, subtle, and smart. I guess that means you're probably an intellectual, but don't take that to mean you're pretentious. You realize 'dumb' can be witty--after all isn't that the Simpsons' philosophy?--but rudeness for its own sake, 'gross-out' humor and most other things found in a fraternity leave you totally flat.
I guess you just have a more cerebral approach than most. You have the perfect mindset for a joke writer or staff writer. Your sense of humor takes the most effort to appreciate, but it's also the best, in my opinion.

Well it got quite the wrong impression about me. I suspect I haven't seen enough movies to get an accurate reading. Or American TV. Although I probably would have picked the Office anyway.

I turned out to be a wit too, but after taking both that test and her "would you have been a nazi?" one, I'm not putting too much stock in either result. These are not "scientific" tests, if any such thing exists. I think that in each case she consciously or unconsciously chose the questions and the scoring to force most people to be wits (as she says that's her preferred sense of humor) and to be nazis (to make the point that "it could happen here").

Late in taking this test, but an interesting result for me:

the Shock Jock
(52% dark, 43% spontaneous, 44% vulgar)

...which is weird because I don't like shock jocks. I'd describe my sense of humor as absurd, intellectual, dark, and yes, spontaneous.

compared to age and gender:

You scored higher than 99% on dark
You scored higher than 99% on spontaneous
You scored higher than 99% on vulgar

...which just shows how much I don't fit in with my peers, I guess.
