Daily Show spoof leads to firing of Broward Art Guild chief--it was bound to happen. Will they change the way they do them?

Why? It is in no way the Daily Show's fault that the Art Guild board is a bunch of assholes who hung the chief out to dry.

At the same time, i don't think they want their comedy to get people fired. And it may have a chilling effect on the amount of people who will consent to be part of them.

That's fair amberglow, but they've been doing this style of report since the beginning of the show, back when Craig Kilborn was the host. Maybe if Daily Show related firings were a regular occurance they would consider changing but this is one in what, 10 years?

that's true..i bet there have been more in the past, but we didn't hear about it bec. the show wasn't so prominent.

I don't think the Daily Show should change...but I do thing the Broward folks could probably use an enema to get that stick out of their butts.
