I've been lucky enough to listen to and watch this band grow since 1994, their "In the West" days, and thanks to them sharing my home state for a few years I have had them in my life in a few other small ways as well. Michael was an incredibly sweet person. It's a terrible thing.

What an insanely senseless way to die. Three men died because somebody else wanted to end her own life. I can't even begin to think the range of emotions their families must be going through.

Ugh. Fer fuck's sake, drive off a cliff, jump off a bridge, play with a pistol, but take others with you on your selfish flight of stupidity? I just don't get people sometimes.

This is very sad and I'm sure it makes the families of those involved very angry indeed.

Tragic, just tragic. I'm sorry you lost friends safetyfork, that's never easy. Big hugs to you and the rest of their friends and family.

And yeah, killing yourself by running into other people? Just insane. I seem to remember that Chicago has bridges, I'm pretty sure guns are legal there, and the dealer down the street could probably hook her up with some downers. It's good that they're charging her with murder, because that's what it was.

Oh my god, I used to know Michael from around town in Seattle. This is terrible, thanks for the link safetyfork. A shame.
