Ever tried one out? Results?

The only one I've ever tried as an online one (see here for examples). Not a fan of the "place hands on mouse and move around a la planchette" versions; this one had you type in questions and the planchette would move while the program spelled out the message above in type. CRAZY results with one (I haven't been able to find again).

It had been swerving around slowly, spelling out mostly nonsense, till I asked:

"Where will I die?" (expecting some city or country)

The thing takes off, circles around FAST, veering this way and that. Then it spells out, in capitals for the first time:

UPSTAIRS

yeesh. So I ask again: "Where, exactly?"

And still agitated, it whips from letter to letter, spelling out:

in the bathtub

I ask: I will drown? and it whips over to "Yes"

then all it would do was babble after that. cool, ah, algorithm, to be sure.

When I was about 10 years old I bought one of these for 50 cents or so at a yard sale.

I've been to many Ouija sessions and séances and I have to say I don’t believe any of it any more than I believe in god.
