"irc is not a registered protocol" I just cleaned up my laptop the other day and uninstalled a load of software. Does that mean I need to re-install something?

Frisbee Girl, I use the Mozilla browser and Chatzilla for IRC. It makes it pretty easy for me, which is a good thing. All I have to do is click the link in Mozilla, and Chatzilla starts up. I put my nickname in the first time, and now it always remembers, and connects straight to #mefi or #metachat, or whatever is in the address. I don't even have to type the "join" stuff.

Hey, eth, I'll try Chatzilla soon. I was just so happy to be able to coax my little Betty of a laptop into playing nicely that I just ran with the mIRC app. And no complaints as good times were had by all!
