amberglow: There was a sleazy article in New York in 2004 about Miller but there was a fantastic quote attributed to AM Rosenthal (sometime in the 1980s when he was Executive Editor):

"Reporters working for me are not going to be fucking the elephants while they are covering the carnival."

Just wanted to get your opinion and I guess that of the warbaby given his journalism background, is that a great quote (philosophy) or what?

Off topic, but damn, I'm suprised by reporter demeanor in the McClellan press conference yesterday. I'm still sneering at them though, because even though they've finally managed to get a couple of their wobbly molars latched onto a bit of tenderized meat, the fact remains that they waited until it was dropped into their mouths (by Rove, no less), 100% effort-free, and partially pre-chewed.

They remain useless, but at least something (muscle memory?) finally impelled them to take a bite.
