I had a uni poli-sci prof who was a huge fan of the Marquis and recommended we read the 120 days. I read a lot of it and then went back to him and told him the 120 was boring, repetitive, and poorly written. He challenged me to do better on the subject. A few weeks later I submitted a paper along with some photographic illustration. He never mentioned the Marquis in my presence again.
