Problems with MeFi CD Swap Is anyone else having problems getting registered on the website for the MeFi CD Swap?→[More:]I registered, didn't get an error message, but didn't get a confirmation email either. I registered *again*, same thing. I've sent Dreama 2 emails and 1 flickr message and she hasn't responded. This has been spread out over the last 2 weeks, and I've been trying to be patient, but I'm really wondering what's going on. Is she delayed in responding to everyone, or have I been secretly blacklisted for some unknown reason?

The same thing happened to me, and I doubt we've both been blacklisted. I think its just that its taking Dreama a really long time (surprise!) to approve new members.

I'm willing to be patient, and it it never works, well, then, it never works. There are alternatives, or so I hear .....

Yes, same problems, same lack of response.

But these alternatives anastasiav speaks of. They mean more music faster, and are so very much more internetty than sending plastic discs through the mail.

I registered without getting a confirmation/approval e-mail. Just filled out the form then logged in with my username and password. I'm on the memberlist so it seems to be fine, but it's like I had the opposite problem: getting in was weirdly easy. Did it work this way for anybody else?

I've just tried to register three times and each time recieved an error message which read "Could not register new user". Am I missing something? Are registrations closed?
