TYSON’S CORNER by David Remnick.
Asked what he might do next, Tyson said, “I’m going to look into doing missionary work.” Maybe in Africa, maybe Bosnia. He was unsure how he would pay his bills. Maybe he just wouldn’t. He was sure, he said, only that the ferocity was gone. “I don’t have it in me anymore,” he said. “I can’t even kill the bugs in my house.”
BECAUSE IN AFRICA, VIOLENT RAPE ISN'T REAL

Here's the Mao tattoo, and the Ashe one as well. I find myself torn between pity and revulsion whenever I read anything about Tyson.

He certainly brought boxing to new depths.

Remember that old Mohammad Ali ad for some roach spray? To me that was a low point in celeb endorsements, at that time.

Perhaps Mike could reprise this ad, with his new meekness.

Silliness factor: 0? Are you kidding? This is a piece on Mike Tyson, crown prince of silliness.

And if you count rabbit punches, I'm sure we could dredge a few of those up...

I'm sure Tyson ate plenty, some still alive.

Who remembers Mike Tyson's PunchOut? Those were some funny opponents!

I think all the Tyster needs is a little sleepski.

It's actually Don King the puppet master and not Mike the marionette that is the root cause of the sadness in that saga. Tyson was doing pretty well considering his childhood until Cus D'Amato died. Watch "Beyond the Glory - Mike Tyson" on Fox Sports next time it comes on. You'll empathize with the brute.
