It probably was the eye drops dilating his pupil, but I hate to advise anyone to anything other than get seen in person. I'm going to quit responding to those posts, but sometimes I just can't resist.

By the way... Some Metafilter member (I believe) has made a comic of his detatched retina experience (or something similar). It's really great, but I can't remember who, where. Anybody?

Dear Metachat, I have just been shot and I'm wondering what I should do? Does anyone have a home remedy that would work? Also, there's blood in my stool and my penis burns when I pee, is that ok?

I assiduously bypassed the 'smell' question. I don't want to know. I kind of find it fun having a bash at answering some of them. And then feel belittled when ikkyu2 comes along with diametric opinions. *sigh*
