I like the 'trumpets. I don't like pirate pete being in the frame when I'm looking at them though.
And just to change the subject completely, I didn't know a helicopter had landed on Everest.

Very nice, dhruva. And since we're all here and talking about glass flowers, I've always wanted to do a post about the Blaschka Glass Flowers collection (4,000 botanical models) at Harvard, but they've never managed to put up a decent site about them (though this article about repairing them is very interesting). Stupid Harvard.

On a work placement years ago, a friend milled an aluminium dildo for his girlfriend. She refused to use it in case it gave her alzheimer's.

They were also featured on an episode of HBO's "Real Sex", if I remember correctly the name. A few years ago, when I had HBO OnDemand is when I saw that episode. It's made of Pyrex, I think.

Yeah, there are glass dildos. I used to date a glassblower from Penland and he told me about making some on commission. Those and your basic glass pipes on the summer festival circuit are how the students support themselves.I never saw one of the dildos, but he did give me a nice pipe.
