Heh...I was wondering about the destination at first.
Umm..I guess I can see why people would find it cool. But for me not so muchly. P'raps it's just today or something. But meh - symbols. *shrug* It will probably turn up again here tomorrow in anastasiav's 'best of' set.

I posted about this site a billiontrillion years ago (well, okay... two years ago) but for some reason, never posted it to MeFi. I guess I didn't think it would be that warmly received. I'm always miscalculating that kind of thing, though; the links I don't post are loved, and the ones I do are mostly "meh".

For the record, I was amazed by that site when I saw it; the best thing is the "identikit" section for identifying symbols you've seen.

I've actually used that symbol site to identify things like corporate logos or occult symbology before, but then I was doing logotype design.

It's been posted to mf at least once before, and I've had it in my bookmarks for at least 3 years, so I though 'meh' when I saw it, but yes, it is a very cool site. You could lose yourself for hours there.

I almost passed over the post but I'm glad you pointed it out because I loved it.
