The only thing that can cheer me up about Crazy Frog reaching number one, is the fact that it'll really annoy Coldplay. It almost makes it all worth while. Hurrah!

This surely is an impending sign of the apocolypse.

*head explodes*

But, if this isn't proof of how overrated Coldplay is, I don't know what would be.

The only thing that can cheer me up about Crazy Frog reaching number one, is the fact that it'll end up becoming a cringeworthy memory in peoples' minds....much like Men Without Hats' "Safety Dance", the Ghostbusters theme by Ray Parker Jr., and Denise Lasalle's "Don't Mess With My Toot Toot".

I once went to a wedding where the bride and her father danced to Safety Dance.

Take that back - Safety Dance is a eighties pop classic and should be treasured.

I would file Crazy Frog next to Star Trekkin' and anything by Jive Bunny. If you don't know what I'm talking about then count yourself lucky....

I'm trying to form some sort of mental image of what these people look like. These people who not only (presumably) voluntarily choose to pay for a copy of that abomination, but then actually (again presumably) voluntarily choose to listen to it. Listen to it more than once, even. Who are these people? I'm fairly certain that I'll never understand their mental processes, but I'd like to see what they frikkin' look like.

And that other one, the Crazy Frog thing, is almost as bad.

Is this "Crazy Frog" something I would need to listen to top 40 radio to have heard of?

  • Go to the UK
  • Switch on a television
  • Wait up to five minutes
  • Crazy Frog!

Is it like Hamsterdance or something?

Why do you strip out the strike tag?

BTW, another oldster's vote in favor of Safety Dance.
