Looks like a new one for the labyrinth locator.
I wonder what the accident stats are at that magic roundabout site? -- I nearly thought it was a hoax at first. Looks diabolical.

Isn't that a Yes song?

I'm always glad to see XTC get a mention, especially in relation to traffic management.

I think if I were driving and came across a sign like that I would just pull over and sob.

And I live in a city filled with traffic circles (same thing, I believe).

Remember the "Simpsons Go to London" episode? American driver Homer got trapped going around a roundabout for 24 hours...

Didn't they do that joke in European Vacation too? I'd heard The Simpsons was going down hill, if they're stealing jokes from Chevy Chase movies then it's worse than I feared.

Regarding accidents, the article claims only 14 serious and 80 minor in 32 years. Not bad. Still terrifying, however.

As a 'Murican who's traveled to England and learned how to drive on the "wrong" side of the road, I think roundabouts in general are far, far, far more efficient for handling traffic than comparable traffic-light-controlled intersections. I wish my countrymen were slightly more intelligent and could be trained to use roundabouts/traffic circles without getting into frequent accidents. I'd love to see more roundabouts in the States.

The Magic Roundabout, however, hurts my head.
