Great find! This is FPP worthy. I remember reading that a red fox can jump something like 15 feet when standing still.

Brilliant and beautiful. Hunts by sense of smell? Did you know squirrels may not always remember where they left their acorns, but new research says they can sniff them out, even when buried in the ground... and covered by a foot of snow.

(Um... that's the ACORNS that are buried... not the squirrels. Although some idiot scientist has probably tested the olfactory capabilites of buried squirrels as well by now.)

Slightly off-topic: White-tailed deer can jump 8'-10' straight up and 30' horizontally.
