People It Is OK To Mock:
Button-down Abercrombic Republicans
Fratboys
Pirates
If there were two pubs catering to these different audiences I think would rather drink in the The Pink Death Star than the The Rum And Eagle Sports Bar.
Just what would a Button-down abercrombie republican frat boy pirate sound like? "Avast ye democrats! Ye will totally have to chug this beer bong and then walk the plank! Arrr!!! Becareful me matey dude, not to spill any beer on me clothes, carefully hand sewn by underpaid scurvy children. ARRR!!!!"
Umm, I have bad news for you - if someone of any stripe, colour, sexual persuasion, ethnicity etc etc does something that deserves mockery, they are going to get it.
Consider yourself warned.
Of, course, mocking someone because they are any of those things is not OK, though.
Add Gypsies to the list of people it's not ok to mock, please.
And gay goth gypsy ninjas just silently sneak into your house, redecorate your interior in crimson paint and crucifixes, and then steal your stash of bandanas, hoop earrings, and tambourines.
(I keep my stash very well hidden, so don't get any ideas)
Did anyone mock Ian Curtis in metatalk yesterday? Because as that thread was still going down it was the 25th anniversary of his death. Don't wavers *and* goths claim him? Is there a difference? I think I was one of the two once. I know I'll dance to anything.
