stuff about lfr:

lonefrontranger is my interwebs handle for quite a few places around the net. when I'm not wasting time on MeCha, I can likely be found on AskMeFi or RoadBikeReview.

and it is NOT CAPITALISED in any way. silly wiki. On #bunnies (IRC) i'm usually rolling under my acronym of 'lfr'. it's less hassle to type, anywhat.

I currently reside in Boulder, Colorado with my awesome roommate, his ornery cat and a bunch of fish and bicycles. The 'front range' bit in my userid refers to my geographical location (yes, people do ask). It's a good place to be an active outdoorsy type person, which is cool because I is one, as are most of my friends.

I have a small passion for photography, which I fulfil by use of my Nikon D70 (and assorted gear) and my Olympus Stylus 500, which rides around in my messenger bag and/or cycling jersey. The Nikon does heavy duty artsy fartsy type 'serious' (lolz!) shots, and the Stylus is my rough-and-ready urban assault camera. the mixed results can be viewed on my flickr site.

I am a serious, full-time cyclist and slacker. I was a pretty decent amateur road racer up until I got tired of training 20 hours a week on top of a full time job. Now I just ride my fixed gear a lot (it's the cyclist's solution to midlife crisis).
