Brina is a 20-something "journalist" living in New York. In a past life, she was an obituary writer and spot news reporter. Now she writes about books and music, and sometimes she gets paid for it. Update as of April 2007: Now she also writes about education and "runs" a "magazine" and supposedly gets paid for it.

• She reads ... a lot. Personal favorites include anything by Margaret Atwood and Lucy Maud Montgomery. Also chick lit and YA lit, as that is what she generally reviews.
• She is half-Korean.
• She was raised in an insanely Fundamentalist Christian household, with a minister for a father.
• She just joined MeCha in December 2006, and so far she likes it just fine.
